Former Brazil midfielder Paulinho has officially announced his retirement at the age of 36.
“I am honored to have won many trophies and important titles, to have play in two World Cups and to have played for Barcelona,” said
“I leave a great legacy. In my last game with Corinthians, with 45,000 Corinthians fans, I felt that this would be my last game. There is no better way to say goodbye.”
The 36-year-old midfielder played in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur between 2013 and 2015 and has won 56 caps for Brazil.
