Manchester United are reportedly set to resume their pursuit of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.
The France international almost joined the Red Devils last summer after Manchester United agreed a deal with Juventus.
However, it is believed that Veronique, Rabiot’s mother and agent. Demanded too much wages, causing United to withdraw from the deal and sign Casemiro instead.
Ten Hag is keen to further strengthen his side in the transfer market. And has apparently made the combative midfield player an ‘important target’.
The Red Devils boss has reportedly held talks with Rabiot in a bid to try and get a jump on other potential suitors that could attempt to hijack a deal.
But with Rabiot’s contract expiring at the end of the season. United still want to bring him to Old Trafford as they won’t have to pay a transfer fee to Juventus and May be willing to offer higher wages than currently accepted
According to French outlet UFABET Sport. Juventus want to extend Rabiot’s contract, but he may decline as they are still waiting to hear about their plans for the project next season.
Rabiot has made 44 appearances for Juventus in all competitions this season, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists.
